San taco: Experience Authentic Mexican Flavors in San Antonio

This San Antonio Gem had great service and tasty food! Our server Juan was great! He was very patient and helpful we wanted to order a little bit of everything and he helped us with his suggestions! % Recommend this delicious place

Excellent service! Server was very attentive. Cafe de Olla is outstanding! 10/10 The Tlayuda Oaxaqueña dish was excellent. It’s enough to share with 2-3 people. We had ours with asada. It was delicious!

Second time here. The food is the real deal. Sad to hear they're closing at the end of the month. They were busy both times I went, and It does take a little bit to get your food, but it's not bad. You're not getting food like this anywhere else in San Antonio, and the price is beyond reasonable. The enfrijolada is excellent. Blown away by how good their beans are.

I can only speak for their tamales as thats what we ordered to go. They have to be the best tamales we have had in SA area.

Fantastic, Esmeralda has superb Customer service! Muy dulce la muchacha, very attentive! I've worked mexican restaurants for the past 10 years, so I'm always very hesitant trying mexican food because it's always so "Tex-mex". You want something AUTHENTIC, bring your friends, bring the family, cause this place has got it! , Don't believe me, check out their Instagram page; their photos represent the quality they serve to the T. Not even 15 seconds into their page and i was sold! Beautiful presentation of dishes. I never go out of my way to leave reviews for restaurants. This place deserves all the praise, will be back 9/16/24, Monday at 11:30am

The food at San Taco was fantastic. The portion sizes were generous and everything tasted fresh and was nice and steaming hot out of the kitchen. Our server Juan Zavala was super friendly and educated us on the menu and made sure we were taken care of during our visit. Would absolutely visit again because the menu has a lot of great sounding options!

Came in unsure because of the mixed reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by everyone and our waitress was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Their cafe de olla was truly a cafe de olla. The spiciness and crunchiness from the chilaquiles were perfection with just enough salsa. The beans are very flavorful and compliment the dish. The guisado plate was also very tasty and tasted like mom’s homemade food. The food and service was great and would definitely come back next time I’m in San Antonio.

The food was amazing. We had great service from Jesus, in English and in Spanish. Hands down the best breakfast/brunch I’ve had in a long time. I’m definitely going to tell my family and friends about San Taco. My only regret is not coming here sooner!!!
